Getting Started
Applying to IABT is straightforward. Our admissions team will guide you through each stage, from application submission to visa processing and arrival in Malaysia.
Step 01
We offer a range of programs designed to support different learning goals and academic pathways. Whether you want to improve your English for everyday communication, prepare for further studies, or build confidence in an international environment, our courses are structured to help you progress step by step.

Students must complete the application form online and submit the required documents.
Applications can be submitted through our website at iabt.edu.my/apply or through authorised education agents.
Please ensure all files are less than 5MB and in PDF or JPEG format. Additional documents may be requested depending on the student's background.
Step 03
Once all documents are received, the admissions team will review your application. If successful, you will receive an offer letter carrying the details of your programme.
Step 04
Students confirm that they accept the offer and make the required payment as stated in the offer letter using the designated bank account provided by IABT.
Please note: IABT will not be responsible for payments made to any person or account that does not belong to IABT.
Our admissions team will guide students through the next steps after acceptance.
Step 05
International students studying in Malaysia must obtain a Student Pass issued by the Malaysian Government. IABT will apply through the Education Malaysia Global Services system.
Once the visa is approved, we will send you the Visa Approval Letter. Students are then required to apply for the single-entry visa online with guidance from our admissions officer.
After the Single-Entry Visa is approved, students can book flights and send a copy to IABT at least five days before departure so arrival can be coordinated with immigration requirements.
Step 06
After visa approval, begin preparing for your studies in Malaysia by arranging accommodation, planning your arrival in Kuala Lumpur, and attending orientation.
Visa processing typically takes 4 to 8 weeks depending on your country of origin. Students are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for processing.
